All our firewood is locally sourced then split and kiln dried here on our premises, keeping its carbon footprint low.
We offer 2 options – kiln dried hardwood and kiln dried larch.
With a moisture content of less than 20% our logs are “ready to burn”
Our kiln-dried hardwood is a natural mix of species which can include Oak, Ash, Sycamore, Cherry, Birch, Beech and Chestnut and many other species. The mix provides excellent heat output, a slower burn and long-lasting warmth.
Purchasing is easy – either pop into the yard during our opening hours, or buy through our online shop for delivery or ‘click and collect’
Our firewood is available in two sizes:
Our dumpy bags measure 45 x 45 x 45 cm so they are more manageable and will fit in the boot of most cars.
Our builders bags measure 80 x 80 x 80 cm which we can load into trailers or vans.
We also offer deliveries within the cowal peninsula, the cost depending on location and order value.
We deliver at the end of the week, but will phone first to confirm.
