Making A Purchase
Products that can be purchased online have a buy button.
For large items such as the furniture, we would prefer that you came and viewed the item to make sure that it was suitable for your needs (ie not too large or heavy etc). If you are unable to visit, please call us and we'll do our best to help.
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
For online ourchases, we accept card payments (Visa & Mastercard).
(If visiting our studio, you can pay by card, cheque or cash)
If you are shopping from outside the UK, you will be charged in UK £ (pounds) and your card company will convert the transaction to your own currency. The exchange rate that is used is determined by your bank at the time of transaction.
If you do not wish to pay online, phone us - we can take card payments over the phone or provide you with our bank details for direct payment.
If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.
When you receive confirmation of your order, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us.
We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
For non-personalised items we will normally despatch your order to you within 2 business days if not sooner. If you need an item urgently, call us as we may be able to despatch it the same day.
Depending on the size of the item, we use Royal Mail or Courier standard and express services for online purchases.
You must inform us within two working days if the goods are damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
All the prices on the site are in UK £ (pounds sterling) and inclusive of VAT at 20%.
For orders outside the EU, VAT will be deducted in the shopping cart. once the delivery country has been specified.
The total price charged does not include any local Import Duty or Tax which may have to be paid by the customer.
Credit Card Security
We use SellerDeck Payments to process online card payments.
They provide a highly secure sevice (powered by Creditcall) which includes Verified by Visa and Mastercard SecureCode.
They are 100% PCI DSS Level 1 compliant.
We aim to satisfy our customers expectations, but know that sometimes problems can occur when purchasing online without the option of seeing the product.
Wood is a wonderful material, full of fabulous colours and markings and with many variations in texture. It is also prone to 'moving and twisting' depending on the conditions it is used in. To us, these properties mean that each item we make is totally unique and interesting.
We cannot guarantee that every surface will be flat or every corner square, but every item is full of character.
